The LOMA series from intercal8 delivers programmable, remotely controllable electronic circuit breakers (ECBs) designed to give engineers, system integrators, and facility operators fine-grained control over power distribution and system protection. These are not replacements for traditional breakers or fuses—they are precision-layered supervisory tools engineered to prevent faults before they cascade.

Each LOMA ECB unit includes a solid-state or relay-based switching array that can be programmed to trip at user-defined current thresholds. These values are adjustable in real-time via standard industrial communication protocols such as MODBUS (RS-485) or CANbus, enabling remote protection reconfiguration based on operational conditions, energy priorities, or automation logic.

 

The ECBs allow power to be cut or restored at the circuit level with no manual intervention. This capability minimizes downtime, eliminates the need to dispatch personnel for resets, and enables predictive power flow management. LOMA units monitor load currents continuously and offer immediate programmable cutoffs, soft start logic, and load reconnection routines.
