CRATUS Technology, Inc. Return Policy

Effective Date: August 19, 2025

This Return Policy applies to all products purchased directly from CRATUS Technology, Inc. (“CRATUS”) and its family of brands, including CRATUS, intercal8, CRIB Lighting, and MAGIC8.

1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns only for products that are new, unopened, and in their original packaging.

To be eligible for a return, you must request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number within seven (7) calendar days from the date you received the product.

2. Return Authorization (RMA)

All returns require a valid RMA number. Products returned without an RMA number will not be accepted.

To obtain an RMA number, please send an e-mail to [email protected]. Your request must include:

  • Your order number
  • The product information
  • The reason for the return
  • Proof of purchase

3. Defective Products

If you have received a defective product, it may be eligible for a return or replacement. To initiate a return for a defective item, you must still follow the RMA process outlined above. We will inspect the product upon receipt to verify the defect. Once the defect is confirmed, we will process your return or replacement in accordance with this policy.

4. Restocking Fee

All eligible returns are subject to a twenty percent (20%) restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund amount.

5. Shipping Costs

The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with the return of non-defective products. CRATUS is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance.

6. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the status of your refund. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method, minus the applicable restocking fee.

Please allow up to fourteen (14) business days from the date we receive your returned product with a valid RMA number for the refund to be processed.

7. Geographic Limitations

This Return Policy applies to purchases and refunds within the United States and Canada.

8. Order Acceptance and Cancellation

All orders are subject to acceptance by CRATUS. CRATUS reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse, cancel, or limit any order, including orders suspected of fraud, unauthorized resale, or misrepresentation, at any time prior to shipment. If an order is canceled after payment has been processed, a refund will be issued to the original payment method, less any non-refundable payment processing fees and any other applicable deductions under this Policy. CRATUS may require additional identity, address, or payment verification before accepting or fulfilling any order.

9.Freight Forwarders and Third-Party Shipping Agents

CRATUS does not accept orders paid by credit card for delivery to, or pickup by, freight forwarders, package consolidators, or other third-party shipping agents. Credit card orders may only be shipped to the verified billing address of the cardholder within the United States or Canada.

 

If CRATUS agrees in writing to release a shipment to a freight forwarder (for example, under a prepaid wire transfer arrangement), title and risk of loss transfer to the customer upon delivery to the forwarder. Such shipments are sold final: they are not eligible for return, refund, or replacement, and CRATUS is not responsible for any loss, damage, or misdelivery occurring after the handoff.
