JT64P 64-Channel LiDAR Robotics and Collision Avoidance HESAI

Compact 360° × 95° mechanical scanning 3D LiDAR

$1,650.00

JT64P is a compact 64-channel mechanical LiDAR designed for robotics and industrial applications. It provides 360° horizontal and 95° vertical coverage, measuring up to 60 m with ±3 cm typical accuracy.

Using 905 nm Class 1 eye-safe ToF technology, it delivers up to 1.15 million points/sec via 100Base-TX Ethernet. GNSS/PTP synchronization and a built-in IMU support reliable multi-sensor integration and calibration.

① Ranging capability

Test conditions: normal incidence, 100 klx ambient illuminance, probability of detection (PoD) > 70%, and false alarm rate (FAR) < 1E-4.

② Ranging accuracy and ranging precision
  • May vary with range, temperature, and target reflectivity.
  • Ranging accuracy: the average measurement error over multiple measurements taken under the same conditions.
  • Ranging precision: the standard deviation of multiple measurements taken under the same conditions.
③ Vertical FOV

Vertical angles' projections onto the plane, not the ones in space.

④ Rated voltage range

The input voltage at the lidar's connector shall be within 9 to 32 V DC.

⑤ Power consumption

Typical value.

  • Not including accessories such as the connection box.
  • Test conditions: 25 °C ambient temperature, 10 Hz frame rate.
  • The external power supply should be able to provide at least 2.6 A, 30 W.
⑥ Operating and storage temperature

Both refer to ambient air temperature. During operation, the lidar's surface and internal temperatures may exceed the ambient air temperature.

⑦ Valid point rate

Defined as the point cloud data points (number of returns) generated per second. At 10 Hz with 0.4° horizontal resolution, each channel generates 900 points per frame; 64 channels generate 57,600 points per frame and 576,000 points per second. Dual return mode doubles this figure.

Chassis grounding

Mount on a properly grounded metal bracket with reliable electrical continuity between enclosure, screws and bracket. Where grounding is impractical, use shielded twisted pair (STP) Ethernet with grounded connectors.

GNSS timing

PPS cycle 1 s ± 50 μs, pulse width ≥ 1 ms (10–100 ms recommended). The NMEA message must start after the PPS rising edge and end at least 100 ms before the next one.
