Yes. This compact 3D LiDAR provides 360° horizontal perception, a 40° vertical field of view, and short range 3D obstacle detection, helping mobile robots detect objects around them instead of relying only on flat 2D scanning.
It elevates sensing from 2D planar detection to 3D environmental awareness. The 360° x 40° field of view allows robots to understand height, shape, and surrounding space more effectively for navigation and obstacle avoidance.
Service robots, robotic lawn mowers, AGVs, AMRs, and compact industrial robots that need short range 3D perception. Small size, low weight, and 4.3 W power consumption make it suitable for embedded robotic systems with limited space and battery capacity.
It means the sensor can detect low reflectivity objects within a short range robotic operating environment. Robots often encounter dark, matte, or low reflective obstacles in warehouses, service areas, outdoor paths, and industrial spaces.
Yes. It provides 360° 3D environmental data for mobile robotic navigation, useful for robots that need to map surroundings and localize themselves while moving.
It measures Φ55 x H64 mm, weighs under 200 g, and has an exposed window height of just over 20 mm, allowing easier integration into small robots, autonomous platforms, and embedded industrial equipment.
Yes. The built in IMU supports motion awareness, positioning, and navigation workflows in mobile robotic systems that need stable perception while moving through dynamic environments.
Yes. Validation covers UV aging, high temperature, IP6K7 & IP6K9K protection, mechanical shock, salt spray, thermal shock with water splash, low temperature wakeup, humid heat cycling, vibration with thermal cycling, and electrical and electronic testing.
Yes. With 4.3 W power consumption, it is a low power 3D LiDAR option for battery powered robots such as service robots, lawn mowers, and AMRs where power efficiency affects operating time.
Choose the JT16 when you need compact 360° 3D perception, short range obstacle detection, SLAM support, low power consumption, and durable industrial validation in a small LiDAR package — especially where size, cost, and installation flexibility matter.
